Celebrate Earth Day Weekend by making a difference in your community! Join Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge and the Central Appalachian Spruce Restoration Initiative for our annual volunteer tree planting event to help us bring back a biologically important ecosystem to Canaan Valley.
Please note:
- Equipment will be provided, but we recommend packing some gloves and water.
- There will be a short walk from the parking area to the planting site. Please wear sturdy shoes.
- There are no facilities at the planting site, but the Visitor Center, just a short drive away, will be open.
